Why Is Our Brain So Fascinating?

I'll give you 86 Billion Reasons Why...

When we take a deep dive into our brains function and capabilities, it's a quite intimidating venture.

With approximately 86 BILLION neurons in our brain it is the same number of the stars in the Milky Way.

If you dig deeper and want to investigate the "connections" these neurons make with one another, called Synapses, the numbers then get mind boggling.

Take a look at this very interesting video that gives a great starting point into the inner workings of our brains and how we've gotten to this point in history.

IMPORTANT TERMS

  • NEURONS

  • SYNAPSES

  • DENDRITES

  • AXONS (Sciatic nerve is an example of the longest Axons in the body)

  • NUCLEUS

I'VE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT IN ORDER TO BECOME THE BEST ARTIST, IT WAS IMPORTANT...to learn about how and why we are able to do the things we do.

Why does one person have a certain set of talents that you may not see in another?

Does it have to do with their upbringing?

What are the circumstances that brought you to where you are RIGHT NOW in your life?

Are you in a good or bad spot? Are you capable/healthy enough mentally to change your circumstance?

Learning to ask the right questions and have the ability to locate the answers is what so many of us are looking for.

Don't forget to spend a little bit of your time (even if it's 5 minutes) engaged in thought about what and how you can improve your quality of life.

USE YOUR BRAIN (and a few of those 86 billion neurons...hahahaha)
