Being an Entrepenuer has its Pros and it's #&$@$&*ing Cons!!!!!
Personally, it gets exhausting.
The constant rejection. (About 85% of the time to be exact).
You work on your craft day after day, week after week, year after year.
If you're lucky, you get a few things going and have a "flash", but what happens in the end is always the same thing (or that's what it feels like)...
There are periods of time when you're killing it!
There are periods of time where you need to borrow money to pay the rent and utilities!!!
Well, you look at yourself in the mirror and realized that 5-10-15-20 years later, you don't feel like you are making progress.
Not a good feeling!
Well, inevitably, doubt starts to creep in and our brain is happy to oblige us with countless reasons why the safer play is to run and hide.
It's depressing and that's the point.
Your outlook is all wrong and your perception of HOW AMAZING YOU TRULY ARE has been squashed, and your perception of self????Â
Skewed.
One thing all successful people have in common somewhere along the line????
THEY HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
THEY SURROUND THEMSELVES WITH SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE
THEY DONT SPEND ALL OF THEIR TIME BEING THE CONSUMER....
THEY SPEND THEIR TIME SELLING THEIR SERVICES TO THE CONSUMER!!!
Maybe you decide to "pull the parachute cord" and get a job and become a 9-5 guy/gal.
What does someone do when they want to enter into the working world?
PUT TOGETHER A RESUME!!!
Ok, you make list on the resume of all your qualifications and realize your only true skill set is in the world your currently in which is a very sobering feeling.
THERE IS A MORAL TO MY STORY and it's this...
If you cannot put your heart and soul into something that you WILL spend the next 15-20-30-50 YEARS doing, then
THATS NOT THE CAREER MOVE FOR YOU...
IF you neglect that and go down that path anyway...you can guarantee you're gonna know what "lost" feels like.
Put your faith in yourself...you've come this far and devote yourself to lacking in on EXACTLY what you want and go get it with toughness, fairness, and focus.
HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE TOGETHER ON THIS PLANET?
Love what you do...learn to do it at the highest level possible.
That is the key
